debris river

We live in a time when the choices we make impact our futures drastically. There is no more time to procrastinate about aligning ourselves to His will. This morning I had a vision which I am compelled to share with you urgently. I saw a mighty river of murky water and the river was composed of a great company of the Lord's people. It was being poured through a giant sieve and after passing through this place, the water on the other side was crystal clear and still contained people being carried along by the force and power of these pure waters. Then I saw inside the sieve and there was a heap of debris that had been filtered out; branches and rocks and trash had been removed from the river and all of it was very dark in color.

As I zoomed in closer, I saw that there were also demons that had been held back by the size of the sieve holes. Previously they had had considerable sway in the lives of some of the people in the river but the appointment with the sieve had broken their power over the people that had passed through. They tried with all their might to squeeze through and follow their victims but they could not. As I looked more closely amongst the debris, I saw some people had not passed through and I could see their hearts, which were completely dark. Although they had been a part of the river of God's people for some time, no light had ever entered their hearts and they had been masquerading as messengers of righteousness. The appointment with this sifting had exposed and removed them from the ranks of those who flowed on with the pure water. I saw the demons catch sight of them and immediately begin to inhabit their earthen vessels. This resulted in them being completely overtaken by demonic darkness.

Then I was shown the name of the sieve. It was written in big, bold letters around the top of the sieve - "Consecration'. God's people were being brought face to face with a crucial choice as they were swept through this weir of sorts. Either they chose complete consecration to the purposes of God or they remained behind in the sieve with that which had made the river murky. It wasn't as if there was a loud announcement that this was the appointment they had come to. But each person was faced with the individual sieve hole they could pass through and the words 'enter through the narrow gate' was whispered deep in their hearts. No-one on either side could hear the choice they were being faced with and the movement of the river was very swift. It was a split-second moment in which they could choose complete surrender and consecration.

Then I heard the scripture phrase 'He leads His sheep out' and I saw a sheepfold with many sheep. It was twilight and the Shepherd came and led His sheep out of a gate. The name over the gate was "Consecration'. Some sheep were in two minds and hesitated, remaining in the sheepfold but the Shepherd continued walking on, leading His willing, consecrated sheep away from this place where they had all been camped in the evening watch. As He got further and further from the camp, I saw dense darkness rolling in and covering the remaining sheep. Only the gate remained lit up and its name was clearly visible, so that the sheep in darkness could still make a choice for a brief moment and run after the other who were following the Shepherd.

Joh 10:3  The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out. Joh 10:4  When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.

To consecrate in Hebrew means  'to pronounce or make clean, or to dedicate something or someone completely, or to make holy'.When someone is consecrated, they are completely set-apart and dedicated to a higher, sacred purpose.

I understood from this vision that it was time to break camp and that the Church of Jesus Christ could not avoid this appointment. We have come to the time when the Lord will fully accomplish a separation of light from darkness within the ranks of His people, and the act of willing consecration and full submission to the leading of the Shepherd amongst His faithful ones will accomplish this. As those who love the Truth and love the Light willingly consecrate themselves fully to be led by the Chief Shepherd wherever He is taking them, all influence of darkness is broken over them. They will be known as those that carry the True Light. The people who remained behind in the sieve may call themselves by the name of the Lord but it will be clearly evident that this area has become the haunt of every foul spirit.

Some small distance after passing through the Consecration gate/sieve, those who had chosen the narrow gate discovered they are no longer struggling against the darkness that had been tormenting them in various areas. They had also been separated from certain people whom they had had much fellowship within that sheepfold. They didn't even have time to look back and check on the welfare of their former companions because the Shepherd was striding ahead with such speed and purpose and they had to use all their strength to keep up with the pace at which things were moving forward. I was reminded of Lot and his family being thrust out of Sodom before judgment fell. Lot's wife had an emotional bond with something in Sodom which caused her to waver and this divided loyalty separated her to the same judgment meted out on the unclean city.

Rev 18:4  And I heard another voice out of Heaven saying, My people, come out of her, that you may not share in her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues;

The God of Light is moving forward fast and those who are sons of Light are following hard after Him. That means that separation is part and parcel of the experience as you pass willingly through that Consecration gate or sieve. There is a marriage, a becoming one, a complete setting apart to the purposes of God that occurs in that passing through. No-one wants to leave family and friends behind when the Shepherd begins striding out, but each sheep has to choose consecration for themselves. You are part of the mighty rushing river that is being passed through the sieve. You cannot avoid this appointment. You may feel you consecrated yourself long ago, but once again you are being asked to take this conscious step. You can only choose full consecration if you desire to follow Jesus. He is the Breaker that goes ahead of us, passing through the gate at our head. To delay this choice is to choose to remain among the debris, darkness and uncleanness caught by the sieve.

In His grace and mercy, God leaves the gate of Consecration lit up as the darkness rolls in. He doesn't want any to perish but as I watched, I saw ravening wolves beginning to devour the sheep who chose to stay. Foul demons were rampaging through the terrified band of sheep, tormenting them and feeding on their flesh. It is not a place you would wish your worst enemy to be found in.

God will have a company who carry a pure Light in the earth. He will have a remnant flock who carry a pure sound. His heart cannot be moved on this issue. What fellowship can light have with darkness? Even in Bozrah, there is appointed a sifting. Even here, the Lord is saying there is whittling down of the numbers of sheep who are prepared to follow Him. Even here, there is a confronting concerning purity and consecration. Be a part of those who offer themselves willingly as psalm 110 speaks of. Be found among those who have crossed over the threshold of the gate of Consecration.

Mic 2:10  Arise and depart; for this is not your resting-place; because of the uncleanness thereof, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction. Mic 2:11  If a man walking in wind and falsehood lies, saying: 'I will preach to you of wine and of strong drink'; he shall even be the preacher of this people. Mic 2:12  I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will render them all as the sheep of Bozrah; as a flock in the midst of their fold; they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. Mic 2:13  The Breaker is gone up before them; they have broken forth and passed on, by the gate, and are gone out thereat; and their king is passed on before them, and the LORD at the head of them.

Choose the narrow gate, Beloved. Choose the Light, choose full consecration. Even now the Great Shepherd is arising to lead His sheep out.
