Food for the Journey
At the beginning of this year, the Lord said to me that life as we know it is about to change, that it is the end of status quo - and how right that statement is! We are all finding ourselves in unfamiliar territory and every day, we must dig deep and access His peace and find joy in His presence for the challenges that lie ahead. Thankfully, none of this has taken our wonderful father by surprise and He has had contingency plans up His sleeve to cover every eventuality. All these He will make known to us at the right time. Having said that, yesterday morning, He spoke to me about those of the house of David being in new territory and that they would need nourishing along unfamiliar paths - almost like a picnic basket which could be dipped into when hungry. The Spirit has laid out His blueprint for a part of my responsibility in this feeding scheme by making audio portions of my books available on a new podcast called FOOD FOR THE JOURNEY. As the Spirit leads, I will be posting short portions from my 7 books, perhaps a few times a week. Episodes will not be longer than 10 or 15 minutes. Please do not feel any pressure to participate. I know everyone si being bombard from all sides by social media and it can get quite overwhelming. AS I said in my last article, we must all first 'plug in' to the throne and hear from the Spirit for ourselves, but on days when you are just needing a quick sandwich while going about your daily tasks at home, feel free to listen to these small sound bytes.
I have used the non de plume 'Abigail' for the author of the podcast because she provided nourishment for David and his men during a dark night. Nabal was drunk and throwing a feast for himself alone when David's men had need of food, but Abigail arose and went to supply them a lavish spread.
1Sa 25:18 Then Abigail made haste and took 200 loaves, two skins of wine, five sheep already dressed, five measures of parched grain, 100 clusters of raisins, and 200 cakes of figs, and laid them on donkeys.
1Sa 25:20 As she rode on her donkey, she came down hidden by the mountain, and behold, David and his men came down opposite her, and she met them.
1Sa 25:23 When Abigail saw David, she hastened and lighted off the donkey, and fell before David on her face and did obeisance.
. 1Sa 25:27 And now this gift, which your handmaid has brought my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord.
My prayer is that they will nourish and strengthen you as you traverse your day and that He would add extra revelation concerning the things I have written, that you might glean every ounce of nutrition from the sound bytes you digest. I would suggest bookmarking the podcast page or subscribing, so that you know when a new sandwich has been served J

I will still be posting audio versions of my prophetic articles on my other podcast Fresh Sound Releases as the Lord gives me revelation and counsel.
Grace and peace to you and yours as you feast on the Lamb in these days!
