Guest Word : Winds of Resistance Against Faithful Witnesses
I don't often do this, but today I felt strongly I needed to share a prophetic word released by an anointed young prophetess and seer, who also happens to be a dear friend. her name is Charmaine Loots and she also lives in South Africa. She has just set up a website www.AwakeningRhema.com , where you will be able to read anything the Lord prompts her to share. This particular message is called:
'Winds of Resistance against Faithful Messengers'.
I had a dream symbolizing what is now happening to those who are committed to run this great race of faith without compromise.
*Dream*
In my dream, I was running the 400m Nationals. I saw my father, my mother and my one brother (whose name means 'lion') in the audience. I was running in lane 8, unenthusiastically referred to as the 'blind lane' because you can't see the other competitors. Runners in this lane are running in front, making it difficult to pace yourself against the other athletes.
As we got into the back straight, there was an extremely strong wind from the front. It was so strong that it made it almost impossible to run. As I was pushing forward, my legs was burning of fatigue. I wondered how the other athletes were coping and looked behind me, only to see how all of them were struggling to run against this strong wind. Some even got out of their lanes in a desperate attempt to make progress against this wind.
I knew I had to keep on running although it seemed impossible. As I got to the turn, I felt completely exhausted. Upon entering the front straight, the wind now behind me, I saw that the last 100m was packed with hurdles. Now I had to jump over these hurdles if I was going to finish this race.
*Interpretation*
Those who have set themselves to uncompromisingly uphold the truth of scripture and follow their resurrected Lord will now start experiencing extreme winds of resistance.
We are entering a phase of resistance followed by a phase of potential stumbling blocks in this great race of faith. First, we will experience fierce opposition against our faith, then the world will create situations on our way to try to get us to compromise our faith.
*Take Courage*
The Father (symbolized by my father) the Holy Spirit (symbolized by my mother) and the Lion of the tribe of Judah (symbolized by my brother) are watching over us and cheering us on.
Jesus as the lion is present to impart boldness and courage, so that we can face what is ahead. In these winds, the enemy will whisper in our ears: “You cannot do this, the resistance is too strong for you, give up..." But “ _…If God is for us, who can be against us_ (Rom 8:31 NKJV)?
*The Forerunners*
The forerunners are called to run in lane eight. Many have prophesied about the nameless, faceless generation. Those who have previously flown under the radar and aren’t well known. They occupy lane 8 as it is given to the person with the slowest qualifying time.
Wisely they have prepared themselves and have saved their energy with the final race in mind. They are the ones who will run in front and blind: they will “… _walk by faith, not by sight_ (2 Cor 5:7 NKJV).”.
They will break open new roads few have traveled before. They will set the pace for the rest to follow and they will be an example for the others of how to run in this new season.
*A Warning!*
There is also a stern warning to those who are tempted to get out of their lanes by adjusting the truth in their attempt to cope with this opposition.
In a natural race, you are disqualified if you don’t keep in your lane. But in this spiritual race, it will make you more likely to compromise your faith, stumble and fall further into the race.
*Don’t Waste Opportunity to Prepare*
The strong wind of resistance on the back straight will be used by God to build our faith muscles so that we will not compromise and fall over the obstacles in the front straight.
In the first straight, our faith will be vigorously opposed. In the last stretch, we will be actively persecuted. The former will be words of opposition. The latter will be actions of persecution.
We will be put in situations where we will have to choose between “peace and safety” (that is with the world) or to follow our LORD and suffer persecution.
*Harvest?*
Although the last stretch of the race is going to be riddled with potential stumbling blocks the wind will now be behind us. The wind of opposition will turn into a wind of support to propel us forward. In this time, many who have opposed us will now join us.
*Finish Strong!*
" _My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing_ (James 1:2-4 NKJV).”
" _...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ_ (Phil 1:6 NKJV).”
“ _Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus_ (Phil 3:13-14 NKJV).”
I just want to attach the information about the arrows.

Good morning.
First of all I want to thank you for your obedience in sharing all your thoughts and visions straight from Abbas heart.
I want to share something with you.
Last week I thought so much about the doves being sent out and the olive branches that were in their beaks. I received a lot of revelation regarding the olive branches, Efraim and the end time generation that will stand for truth.
But then ABBA started talking to me about the younger generation. As I did the Torah portion of last week I read Numbers 14 where the 12 spies were sent out and how Israel believed the bad news of the 10 spies. In verse 3 the state that their children will die in the wilderness.
Yahuweh was so angry that He said how dare they say this after all He has done for them... Now they won't enter the promised land but their children will.
I was so moved by this as I realised how important it is that we open our eyes to the fact that this end time generation/army/firstfruits will consist of children as well.
I was reminded of the scripture that said that children are like arrows. Ps 127:4.
I was reminded of your vision of the olive branches sent out like arrows and it just made a connection in my spirit to how much God wants to use them as well.

Arrows were one of the few long-range weapons of that era. They had the ability to hit the enemy from a great distance, lowering the need for hand-to-hand battle. If arrows were released properly, battles changed completely. Now a days, a package of arrows is made by a machine, and are precisely designed to fly where they are aimed. Unfortunately, many parents have adopted this same mentality when it comes to the arrows in their quiver. We send kids to certain schools, put them in certain classes, and take them to church, hoping they will come out able to hit the mark. We want to purchase arrows in a package, but it doesn't quite work that way. [image: bow.jpg]
At the time this verse in psalms was written, arrows did not come in bulk packages made for consumers; arrows were crafted. It all started with choosing the branch. No two branches were exactly the same and no arrowheads or fletching were alike, so every single arrow had its own individual character. The best Archers had a part in shaping each arrow and intimately knew their arrows and how they would do what they were made to do. Like the archer, parents, must understand our role in shaping our children. The school can help put fletching on, the church can sharpen the arrowhead, but ultimately, parents are the ones releasing them into the world. We cannot delegate most of the responsibility to other institutions to shape our children. The true role of a parent is to shape our arrows (children) ourselves. We will have helpers, advisors, and counselors supporting us in our Arrow-making, but it is our responsabiliy to create the finished product. These are our arrows. Our children are valuable, one of a kind, and unique. Let us take the time to shape each one for the Kingdom of God. [image: one arrow.png]
God designed it so we get to spend massive amounts of time with our children when they are young; it is part of the arrow-marking process. Even if you are a full-time working parent or if you have a partial custody of your child, you are still getting to greatly influence their lives. You create the home environment they live in, choose who cares for them when you are unable to, choose what boundaries are set for them, and hundreds of life-altering decisions. Their entire lives are greatly influenced by the choices you make for them and yourself. [image: kids time.jpg]
The choices we make for them, the connection we have, the words we say- all of these aspects of our children's lives are shaping them. It's smoothing the branch in one place or cutting a piece out to create the place for the arrowhead. It reminds me of the verse in John were it says," “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.".
