Since the Spirit began speaking to me about the firstfruits barley company being finally ripe, I have been looking at the way that offering is prepared for presentation to the Lord overnight, by threshing, passing through the fire, grinding into fine flour, enduring many siftings and then finally being offered as a wave offering with oil and frankincense in the morning watch of the first day of the week (Lev 2:14). Jesus was presented as the barley firstfruits offering in the morning watch of the first day of the week and the sons of God will similarly be prepared and presented.

This morning, the Lord directed me to Isaiah 28 v 25 where it describes the seed of the different crops being planted in their appointed places. The verses which follow describe the crops being harvested. One verse really caught my eye:

Isa 28:28  Does one crush bread grain? No, he does not thresh it continuously. But when he has driven his cartwheel and his horses over it, he scatters it [tossing it up to the wind] without having crushed it. 

We are told the barley kernel is liberated or separated from its husk by a cartwheel and horses. Until this happened, the barley, although completely ripe and marked as part of the firstfruits barley company, remained in an unprepared state. Immediately the Spirit reminded me of the assignment of Jehu in carrying out the judgments on Jezebel decreed by Elijah (2 Kings 9). Jehu was anointed king in the inner chamber by the oil of Elisha, and therefore he represents the release of a double portion kingly anointing to execute the spoken judgments of the Elijah company.

A chariot wheel and horses executed that judgment or threshing and liberated those bound by Jezebel. Those made eunuchs in the house of Jezebel wanted to be part of the double portion company of Jehu (who had the kingly anointing) and cast Jezebel down, but they were still bound to her until the threshing happened. Jehu rode over Jezebel with his chariot wheels and separated the eunuchs from her permanently.

Some years ago, I wrote a series called ‘Mighty Men Emerging’ where the Lord showed me mighty men and ministries being held captive in the hold of witchcraft for a long season and, at an appointed moment, God’s 3-fold judgments were executed and these mighty men were released to be effective and fruitful in the earth. (If you haven’t read this series, I am sure the spirit will give you many nuggets that apply to your situation).

Jezebel and her witchcraft hold were part of the hard dry outer husk obscuring these mighty men of God (the barley firstfruits) and rendering them unfruitful. The outer husk of grain has enzyme inhibitors which resist and prevent the contents of the kernel being accessed. In effect that outer husk is like a set of locked prison doors. Only threshing will effectively remove them.

Eunuchs are mighty men taken captive and rendered unfruitful in past seasons, by preventing them releasing their seed in the earth. In the spiritual realm, the mouth is the channel of impartation, creation and reproduction; by which the revelation truth and seed within the heart is released to bring forth much fruit. So a eunuch in the spirit would be someone whom the spirit of Jezebel has effectively gagged and silenced, thereafter allowed only to serve or function as a slave in her realm of influence; waiting upon her sons and separated from effective functioning in the Kingdom of God. There are many mighty men ministries which have been forged in the hearts of God’s servants, while held in the prisons of Jezebel; yet held back from full manifestation by her witchcraft. But now, God has determined that the firstfruits barley company have come to maturity and the cartwheel and horses of Jehu have been commissioned to thresh the barley firstfruits and remove the witchcraft hold of Jezebel from them. The 3-fold kingly assignment of Jehu is to slay the sons of Jezebel and then Ahab, her husband and then to cut her off.

The root of the Hebrew word for wheel means ‘a whirlwind, heaven’. So Heaven’s whirlwind is the instrument by which Jezebel’s hold is removed.

Isaiah 66:14 And the [powerful] hand of the Lord shall be revealed and known to be with His servants, but His indignation [shown] to be against His enemies. Isa 66:15  For behold, the Lord will come in fire, and His chariots will be like the whirlwind, to render His anger with fierceness, and His rebuke with flames of fire. Isa 66:16  For by fire and by His sword will the Lord execute judgment upon all flesh, and the slain of the Lord will be many.

His hand is shown to be with HIS SERVANTS, the eunuchs, and against His enemy, Jezebel. The threshing liberates them from her hold forever. THE WHIRLWIND OF GOD IS EXECUTING JUDGMENT UPON THE WORKS OF JEZEBEL IN THIS SEASON AND LIBERATING THE EUNUCHS SO THAT THEY CAN RECEIVE AN INHERITANCE. The word used for barley in  Isaiah 28:25 when being planted is ‘se’orah’, which comes from a root word meaning ‘to take away with a whirlwind’. How interesting that barley is connected to separation using a whirlwind (or wheel). Jehu was an anointed flame of fire rendering God’s rebuke.

We also see the two liberated eunuchs earlier depicted by the servants or sent ones (apostles) of the house of Jezebel’s son, Jotham. These men are sent one after the other by her son to challenge Jehu as his company rides in on God’s business.

  Then Joram sent out 2Ki 9:19a second man on horseback, who came to them and said, Thus says the king: Is it peace? Jehu replied, What have you to do with peace? Ride behind me.

Finally, the house of Jezebel stops sending servants (because they keep joining Jehu’s company!) and sends her son and another king or leader loyal to Jezebel:

2Ki 9:21  Joram said, Make ready. When his chariot was made ready, Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot. Thus they went out to meet Jehu and met him in the field of Naboth the Jezreelite. 

It is important to note that the judgment occurs in the very place where Jezebel had robbed and killed Naboth. Naboth means ‘fruitful’. Beloved, the Lord intends to deal with the children of Jezebel in the very territory where she stole your portion of inheritance and effectively rendered you unfruitful..

2Ki 9:22  When Joram saw Jehu, he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, How can peace exist as long as the fornications of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? 

It is witchcraft that makes men of God eunuchs of Jezebel and steals their portion of inheritance in the Kingdom of God. The assignment of the Jehu company fully liberates those serving men who came forth from the womb of Jezebel and all who in leadership who are aligned with her. They shall ride behind Jehu and watch the full execution of God’s judgment on Jezebel and her children.

2Ki 9:32  Jehu lifted up his face to the window and said, Who is on my side? Who? And two or three eunuchs looked out at him. 2Ki 9:33  And he said, Throw her down! So they threw her down, and some of her blood splattered on the wall and on the horses, and he drove over her. 

Yes, the barley firstfruits may be cast down and threshed after harvest, but the purpose is to separate them from the hold of Jezebel that they may be part of the firstfruits wave offering to the Lord. God has allowed you to come to full maturity and ripeness in that hard grain casing but the time to separate you from its restriction is here. Just as Joseph grew to age 30 in the prison of Pharaoh and at the appointed moment was set free and raised up to rule when those prison doors opened, so too the glorious freedom of the sons of God is at hand.

The city of Thyatira in Revelation 2 is described as the place where Jezebel is dealing wickedly with God’s bondservants. Thyatira means ‘odor of affliction’. In this place, Jezebel has made God’s servants suffer, afflicting them and robbing them. Now God says He will strike her children dead, note not His children. Eunuchs may have been made bondservants of Jezebel, but they did not emerge from her womb and they know not the depths of satan. It is those who have come forth from Jezebel’s womb of preparation and all who align with her that are struck down by God’s judgment - and those who overcome, then rule and reign with Him.

Rev 2:23  And I will strike her children (her proper followers) dead [thoroughly exterminating them]. And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves. 

Do not think that the works of Jezebel against you have ruined your chances of having an inheritance or portion in God; that it is too late to carry out your calling in the Kingdom. Hear what God says about those rendered unfruitful by Jezebel:

Isa 56:4  For thus says the Lord: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths and choose the things which please Me and hold firmly My covenant-- Isa 56:5  To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial and a name better [and more enduring] than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. 

You are coming out of that outward husk, the stranglehold of Jezebel; out of that prison cell to rise and take your appointed place as part of the firstfruits company, who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. The gag order upon you is broken and you will be able to bring forth and be fruitful in the kingdom. His hand is shown toward you and judgment in your favor at this time.

It is important to note how the One who decrees this judgment on Jezebel in Revelation 2 is described, as we are given understanding of the times and what God is specifically saying through these details.

Rev 2:18  And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, Who has eyes that flash like a flame of fire, and Whose feet glow like bright and burnished and white-hot bronze

The feet of the Son of God glow like burnished bronze because He has just come forth from the furnace heated seven times hotter, while walking and talking with the 3 men who had been thrown into the fire. Those men were thrown into that fire because they would not compromise in their worship of God or bow to idols. The Son of God’s eyes flash like a flame of fire because He is in the process of making His messengers flames of fire and manifesting the sons of God, who come forth with a baptism of fire. The result of the judgments executed on Jezebel in Rev 2 is a release of overcomers with authority to rule as kings and execute God’s judgments in the earth.

The final touches of preparation for presentation as the firstfruits barley wave offering may be distinctly uncomfortable but let your heart be at peace as the threshing separates you from all that has held you back from the fullness of His purposes in your life. In the morning watch, you will be raised up as a wave offering before the throne.
