The Lord has continued to speak and release understanding from the events in Zimbabwe. May you be empowered to arise and sing His praise as you read:

  • It was strong witchcraft which built a wall in the spirit round the strongman, preventing his removal and a spirit of fear paralyzed the people.

    In a series I wrote some years ago called ‘Mighty Men Emerging’, God gave me a dream where those held under the hold of the power of witchcraft would be released after two releases of sound and a mighty explosion of God’s judgments executed in the second heaven. It involved the demise of Jezebel and the shout of Jehu and his company. You can access the 4 part series on the Storehouse page of my website.

    I believe this change of leadership in Zimbabwe is a sign that we have reached this pivotal moment and will soon witness the stage of God’s righteous judgements being released over our situations. The overcomers will come forth to rule and reign in their appointed positions.

  • The army takeover was planned secretly for a year but the ground troops only got their orders just before it occurred.

    Only the head of the army knew what was about to unfold. It was kept top secret to prevent any interference in its successful manifestation.

    Heaven has been planning for breakthrough and a shift to a new season but most of God’s people are unaware of the plans. The Head of the army of God is the Son Himself, executing the will of His Father and He keeps His cards very close to His chest so that the enemy does not have an opportunity to see His troops coming and reinforce his stronghold. In fact, Grace Mugabe was rejoicing, secure in the ‘knowledge’ that her rival was out of the way and the presidency would soon be hers... little did she know what was about to occur just as arrogant Jezebel never thought the eunuchs would respond to the shout of Jehu and cast her to her death! This why intercessors will receive heavenly downloads and orders which will be carried out overnight. God’s plan is a stealth plan that blindsides the enemy!

  • The first thing which changes is the source of the sound being sent out to listening ears.

    The first place taken over was the Official National Broadcaster. Immediately all disinformation and broadcasting from the strongman’s offices was silenced. The head of the army informed the people of Zimbabwe that the army had taken over to rid the country of wickedness. No longer did the strongman have the ability to influence the people of the nation. Change began with a cessation of the strongman’s sound releases and an announcement that a new day had come for Zimbabwe. The effect of this sound released courage and boldness into the previously oppressed people of the nation and they added their sound to what was released so that the decree for the breaking of the strongman’s grip formed a crescendo of battle sound in the spirit.

    The Father God will be speaking words of Truth to replace the propaganda of the enemy. His righteous decrees will sound forth and His people will align themselves with that glorious sound. Heaven and its armies are about to take over and the Word of God on His white horse will lead the armies of God on earth to victory as they add their shout to the sound from the Breaker’s mouth. Stop being a broadcaster for the enemy by continually repeating what the strongman has achieved in your life. Give him no more publicity. Become a ‘news before it’s news’ announcer of the arrival of Heaven on earth.

  • It is not Your Responsibility to Break the Stronghold Preventing You from Taking Your appointed Place.

    Emmerson Mnangagwa did not participate actively in the takeover bid. He was however in close contact with the head of the army throughout the bloodless coup, only returning when it was safe for him to do so.

    In the same way, you will not have to do anything in your own strength to secure the removal of the strongman over your personal situation. Just stay in close contact with Jesus, as the Breaker goes ahead of you. You will be moved out of the way for your own safety and the army of Heaven will deal with all the dismantling of the stronghold. Perhaps this is why it says in Isaiah that we are to go into our chambers for a little while:

    Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the [Lord's] wrath is past. Isa 26:21  For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place [heaven] to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also will disclose the blood shed upon her and will no longer cover her slain and conceal her guilt.

    Noah and his family remained safe in the ark while God dealt with the wicked. Then they emerged to fulfil their roles in God’s plan, like a capsule of righteous DNA preserved for release after the judgments were executed.

    Paul and Silas trusted their lives into God’s hands and sang praises in prison and God sent the earthquake that broke the stronghold keeping them captive.  Notice all the prisoners were released from their cells as a result of the earthquake. It wasn’t just about Paul and Silas. God had a much higher purpose in mind.  It was about the jailor’s family as well!!

    Act 16:26  Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone's shackles were unfastened

    Act 16:30  And he brought them out [of the dungeon] and said, Men, what is it necessary for me to do that I may be saved? Act 16:31  And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household as well. Act 16:32  And they declared the Word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. Act 16:33  And he took them the same hour of the night and bathed [them because of their bloody] wounds, and he was baptized immediately and all [the members of] his [household]. Act 16:34  Then he took them up into his house and set food before them; and he leaped much for joy and exulted with all his family that he believed in God.

    In the same way, trust God to intervene and rather do your part in releasing a barrage of high praise. It will empower the angelic armies to fight on your behalf. Even as I type this, I see notes of music ascending into the heavenly realm and acting as sharpeners for the warring angels’ swords as they take up their battle stations. Remember that Joshua had an encounter with the captain of the Lord’s host just before the Heavenly blueprint for the fall of Jericho was released – and this mighty angel had a drawn sword!(Josh 5:13) And that battle plan had nothing to do with God’s people using the strength of their own arm to break through the citadel walls. The angels has already been sent to execute God’s orders and it was up to the people of God to do their part. Jericho’s walls were not flattened by the strength of an earthly army. They were destroyed by sound released from an obedient people who had understanding of the times and. The crescendo of sound created by the shofars and the shout signalled the moment for the angels to flatten every wall- God’s earthly and Heavenly armies were working in sync!

    Decree the battle already won over all your brothers and sisters, families, tribes and nations in their trials and imprisonment – think collectively, rather than personally and begin to see from a higher perspective. Emmerson Mnangagwa was released to rule for the good of the entire nation, not for his own personal political progress. Deal with any remaining self-centeredness in your heart. The next chapter is not about you, it is about the extension of the Kingdom of God and the glory of God. It is about the Lamb that was slain receiving the reward of His suffering – the souls of men.

    Rev 5:8  And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense (fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God's people (the saints). Rev 5:9  And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. Rev 5:10  And You have made them a kingdom (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth!

    Add your worship to the song of the four living creatures and the twenty four elders. Worship the Lamb and decree His supreme worthiness. Decree the release of every one purchased by the Blood from every tribe and language and people and nation. Decree the binding of the strongmen that have held them captive. Decree the breaking of the power of witchcraft that has empowered the strongmen to remain. Decree the Lamb will see the fruit of the travail of His soul and be satisfied! Open your mouth and release a sound of the victory that has already been bought with the Priceless Blood of the Lamb.

    Do you remember the bowls full of incense which represent the prayers of the saints on the golden altar? The Greek word translated ‘prayer’ also means ‘worship’. I believe we are in the time when ‘very much incense’ is given to the angel and the fragrance of this much increased prayer and worship results in fire from the altar being cast upon the earth:

    Rev 8:3  And another angel came and stood over the altar. He had a golden censer, and he was given very much incense, that he might mingle it with the prayers of all the people of God (the saints) upon the golden altar before the throne. Rev 8:4  And the smoke of the incense (the perfume) arose in the presence of God, with the prayers of the people of God (the saints), from the hand of the angel. Rev 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 

Look at the results of the fire being cast upon the earth – voices or sounds are suddenly heard where before there was silence, the thunders of the God of Glory are being released, flashes of revelation light are being sent forth so that people in darkness will suddenly know the truth and the truth will set them free. Arise, saints of the Most High God and begin to rejoice. Your prayers have been heard and are safe in the bowls before the altar. Provide the remaining incense to trigger the cataclysmic judgments appointed on the strongmen and their strongholds. Practise skipping about for joy like calves released from the stall in anticipation of the Sun of Righteousness arising. The dawn of a new day is at hand and God is using a small nation of the ‘dark continent’ to announce it.

Psa 149:5 Let the saints be joyful in the glory and beauty [which God confers upon them]; let them sing for joy upon their beds. Psa 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a two-edged sword in their hands, Psa 149:7 To wreak vengeance upon the nations and chastisement upon the peoples, Psa 149:8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron, Psa 149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written. He [the Lord] is the honor of all His saints. Praise the Lord!
