dead dove

At the beginning of April, I brought a word from the Lord which included a reference to His doves not being slaughtered before their time. I had quite a number of people correspond with me about this topic and I mentioned to them that we have entered the time of martyrdom on a much greater scale than we have seen in our lifetimes. Last week, the Father began to bring more light about this. It is not an easy subject to talk about (or even think about) and it has very rarely been mentioned from the pulpits of the modern church, but as the endtime Bride of Christ, we need to prepare our hearts for this possibility.

We are headed into days of great glory, in the midst of persecution and suffering. While the man of lawlessness is doing his best to crush the true church, the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. The one occurs at the same time as the other.  This is why God has urged in recent words I have shared that we must 'act the man' and 'be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might'. Courage in the face of hatred and onslaught will be the order of the day. The early church considered it an honor to lay down their lives for the Gospel and Jesus Himself educated His disciples so that they were prepared for what was coming. He was not talking to the big crowd who hankered after His miracles. He was sharing with those who had given up everything to follow Him wherever He went. These are the ones who are hated by the enemy because he has nothing in them. May God grant us the grace we need to make peace with His perfect will concerning each of us, knowing that if He calls us to lay our lives down, the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church., and we are granted the honor of joining that great company who have gone before us, overcoming by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimonies AND loving not their lives unto death!

Now let me share what He spoke to me... I was sharing with a friend last week and suddenly I was shown a vision: I see a dead dove lying on its back on the ground, and Jesus is crouching down and touching it tenderly, weeping copious tears which fall upon the dove's breast. I hear a verse spoken: 'Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints'.

I ask Him, "Who is going to die, Lord?"

He speaks quietly, "Many of My doves are going to die... Not all at once, but even as Mary and Joseph brought two doves when they presented their manchild in the temple, so too the unveiling of the manchild will be accompanied by the laying down of the lives of many of My doves. They go willingly, surrendered fully and determined to glorify Me in life or in death. And the fragrance...Oh! The fragrance..."

As He says this, I see such a strong thick cloud of incense rise heavenward that it is almost impossible to breathe; the fragrance is so sweet and so powerful as it rises to the throne. Then He continues quietly:

"The glory must be accompanied by a cloud of incense from MY altar of worshipers for no man can stand in the glory. And these ones...." He touches the dead dove very tenderly as He speaks, "These ones have said, ' Do with me what You will, Lord. Only let me glorify You. Let me be a part of You receiving the reward for Your suffering. Let my life bring You joy!" And because they trust Me and yield themselves fully to the mystery of My perfect will, they will become part of the rent curtain that reveals the ark of My glory in the Heavens. They become part of the sound that says, 'Father forgive them. They know not what they do.' Because of these, My pearls of great price cast down before the swine, blind eyes will be opened to see Me, deaf ears will hear the gospel of My Kingdom and the sickle will plunge into the ripe harvest, even as the heads of My doves fall to the ground. This is the fullness of the number required to balance My scales. This is the time those beneath My throne cry out for. Dove feathers carry weight on My scales of justice, even as they float to the ground in a gentle shroud upon the fallen.

Know this, My doves – your times are in My hand and no strike shall fell you before your appointed time. Shelter beneath My wing and be at peace. You will each play your appointed part in the outpouring of My glory. Some are to steward portals with their feet on the ground of this earth. Others will take up their positions at heavenly gates. My heavenly and earthly armies work closely together now. I say again, BE AT PEACE. I have all in hand. You are Mine and no-one can snatch you from My embrace."

Luk 2:22  And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; Luk 2:23  (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) Luk 2:24  And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

Mat 24:9  Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. Mat 24:10  And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred. Mat 24:11  And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. Mat 24:12  And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity, Mat 24:13  But he who endures to the end will be saved. Mat 24:14  And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

Luk 21:12  But previous to all this, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be led away before kings and governors for My name's sake. Luk 21:13  This will be a time (an opportunity) for you to bear testimony. Luk 21:14  Resolve and settle it in your minds not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defence and how you will answer. Luk 21:15  For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute. Luk 21:16  You will be delivered up and betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and [some] of you they will put to death. Luk 21:17  And you will be hated (despised) by everyone because [you bear] My name and for its sake. Luk 21:18  But not a hair of your head shall perish. Luk 21:19  By your steadfastness and patient endurance you shall win the true life of your souls.

Psa 116:15  Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Rev 6:9  When the Lamb broke open the fifth seal, I saw at the foot of the altar the souls of those whose lives had been sacrificed for [adhering to] the Word of God and for the testimony they had borne. Rev 6:10  They cried in a loud voice, O [Sovereign] Lord, holy and true, how long now before You will sit in judgment and avenge our blood upon those who dwell on the earth? Rev 6:11  Then they were each given a long and flowing and festive white robe and told to rest and wait patiently a little while longer, until the number should be complete of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Rev 2:10  Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. [Dismiss your dread and your fears!] Behold, the devil is indeed about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested and proved and critically appraised, and for ten days you will have affliction. Be loyally faithful unto death [even if you must die for it], and I will give you the crown of life.

Hab 3:19  The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!
